Beat the Heat: New Yoga Digs & Take-Home Juice Recipe

We are well into the summer season here in the Turks and Caicos, which means it's hot, hot, hot — and we still have a few months to go (our summers tend to last about … half the year). So to help you combat the heat and look like a yoga queen at the same time, we're happy to announce we have some new gorgeous, lightweight yoga pants and shorties by Onzie for sale here at Retreat. We have something for you to beat the heat for when you're not doing yoga, too. In honor of sweet summertime, we've got a sweet and spicy green juice recipe for you to enjoy at home. This juice is lighter, fruitier and sweeter than your average green juice, so it's a great way to sneak in your daily dose of green veggies.

Spicy Summer Green Juice

Makes 1-2 cups

  • Cucumber - 1
  • Celery - 2 pieces
  • Kale - 2 cups
  • Mint - 2 sprigs
  • Pineapple - 1 cup
  • Lemon - 1
  • Apple - 2
  • Ginger - thumb or more, depending on your preference

Add it all to your juicer and enjoy. And of course, you can always alter the recipe to your own preferences. Enjoy the rest of your summer!
